The issue of paper leak keeps coming to light every day in Bihar. Thousands of students took to the streets in Patna demanding re-conduct of BPSC exams. When these students were protesting peacefully at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, a large number of policemen attacked the students and beat them like cattle. In which many students were injured, water was showered on the students in the extreme cold. Now this protest has started spreading throughout Bihar.

Thousands of students have come out on the streets of Patna against the JDU-BJP coalition government of Bihar. Students have been protesting for the last three days. Instead of considering their demands, these students are being driven like cattle for the last three days, as if the government has given the police a free hand to resort to lathi charge. Some videos and pictures are going viral in which dozens of policemen surround a student and beat him with batons. This inhuman treatment of students who are protesting peacefully is being strongly criticized. Students said that just as the British had opened fire on innocent people in Jallianwala Bagh, a similar scene was seen in Gandhi Maidan in Patna.

Congress Lok Sabha MP Priyanka Gandhi shared a video of the lathi charge on Twitter and criticized the action. He said that for the second time in three days, students were tortured in Bihar, instead of stopping the incidents of corruption and paper leaks in examinations, the government wants to crush the movement by suppressing the voice of the students. Throwing water on the youth in such cold weather and then lathi-charging them is inhumane. The double engine of BJP has become a symbol of double atrocities on the youth. Videos of barbaric lathicharge on peaceful protesting students are now being shared. Students allege that the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) exam paper has been leaked, hence the exam should be conducted again. A complaint has been lodged against Prashant Kishore who came in support of the students. Bihar Police has registered a case against 700 people including Prashant Kishore for protesting without permission, which is also being criticized a lot.
