Last body found in hoarding incident was that of Kartik Aryan's maternal uncle

Mumbai: The bodies of retired ATC officer Manoj Chansaria and his wife Anita were found three days after the incident when a large hoarding collapsed on a petrol pump in Ghatkopar last Monday. Now it has been revealed that this couple was the maternal uncle of film actor Kartik Aryan. Kartik Aryan was also present at the couple's funeral held at Sahar crematorium.

Manoj Chansaria, who retired as General Manager of ATC last March, shifted to his hometown Jabalpur. However, since his son Yash lives in America, he thought of moving to America after retirement. So he came back to Mumbai for visa work.

After finishing his work on Monday evening, he left for Jabalpur. At around 4:30 pm, they were stopping to fill petrol in their car at a petrol pump near the end of the Eastern Express Highway, when the hoarding collapsed and they were buried under it. 16 people including this couple died in this accident.

On the evening of the accident, son Yash was trying to contact his parents. But, after his parents' calls were not reachable, he contacted the people working with his father and asked for their help. He informed the police. When the police traced the couple's mobile phone, the last location was found to be this petrol pump. This led relatives to speculate that the couple may have been victims of the Hordigan disaster. Therefore, his relatives and the entire ATC staff remained sitting near the accident site for three consecutive nights and days. On the other hand, his son also set out to come from America.

The couple's car was seen in debris on Wednesday night. Yesterday morning it was revealed that the bodies found in the car were those of a couple. The bodies of the couple were last found at the scene of the crime.

Yesterday, when Yash performed the last rites of his parents at Sahar crematorium, Kartik Aryan was also present as a relative.
