Apart from this, many houses have also collapsed due to this accident. Now according to the latest media reports, more than 300 people and more than 1100 houses are buried under the debris. At the same time, Papua New Guinea Post Courier quoted the country's MP Amos Akeem as saying that more than 300 people and 1,182 people were buried under the debris due to the landslide. According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, four bodies have also been recovered from the area with the help of emergency teams. The highway is blocked due to the landslide, so helicopters are the only means of transport.
