A landslide has occurred again on Saturday in the Charlton Lodge area of the city and this area has become the 'sore spot of the city' within the densely populated area. After receiving information about the landslide here, the SDRF reached the spot and took 10 local families to safe places amid heavy rain.
It is noteworthy that on 23rd September last year, a two-storey building collapsed due to a landslide and this matter was much talked about. Despite this, the administration did not do any corrective work in the last one year.

Only here, 18 families who were evacuated from the area then and returned later were instructed to leave their homes and go to safety two days ago and black plastic sheets were put up to prevent the leakage of rainwater in the area, which failed today and a landslide occurred in the area again.
