Ramgarh, 06 April (HS). Efforts are being made continuously to defame the Panchayat representatives on the basis of money and influence. This incident is happening in Mandu block area of the district. This came to light on Saturday when Mandu Chatti head Anita Devi complained to the DC.
He has said that such activities are being done by illegal brick kiln operator, land mafia and coal smuggler Ramesh Saav in Mandu. In the application written to the DC, Mukhiya Anita Devi has said that Ramesh Sao has taken possession of the government land by making fake documents. The brick kiln is operating without NOC of forest land. By filling the trench marked by the Forest Department on the banks of NHAI, trees are being cut there. The departmental officer is silent on all this, Ramesh Saav is taking advantage of this. About 19 cases are registered against him in the police station and court. That person even hinders the work of the Block Development Officer.
Despite all this, he carries out false propaganda against the Panchayat representative. Besides, by hatching conspiracies in various ways, the work of common citizens gets hampered. Chief Anita Devi has demanded investigation and action against such anti-social elements. Apart from DC, he has also written a letter to MNREGA Commissioner, Rural Development Department, Ranchi.
