Madrid, April 30 (HS). Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick in the second half as FC Barcelona came back from a goal down to beat Valencia 4-2 late on Monday night at the former Olympic Stadium in Montjuic.
The result moves Barcelona into second place in La Liga, overtaking Barcelona, and also means Real Madrid cannot be assured of the La Liga title in their home match against Cadiz next week.
Barcelona scored the first goal of this match in the 22nd minute of the match, when Fermín López showed his intelligence in the penalty area and sent Raphinha's accurate cross between two defenders into the goal post. However, just five minutes later, Hugo Duro scored a goal and gave Valencia a 1-1 draw.
In the 38th minute of the match, Pepelu scored another goal on penalty to give Valencia a 2-1 lead. Valencia maintained its 2-1 lead at half-time.
In the second half, Barcelona adopted an aggressive approach and Robert Lewandowski (49', 82', 90', 3') scored a hat-trick to give his team a 4-2 win.
