Rajpura: Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha (Punjab Vidhan Sabha) Kultar Singh Sandhawa today participated in North India's largest Kisan Mela at Rajpura's Anaj Mandi. On this occasion, he said that farmers will play an important role in making Rangla Punjab, because the state can prosper only with the prosperity of the food providers. He said that the resolution taken by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to make the state Rangla Punjab passes through the fields of Punjab. MLA Labh Singh Ogoke was also present on this occasion.
Sandhawa (Kultar Singh Sandhawa) said that agriculture is the backbone of not only Punjab but the entire country and such Kisan Mela plays an important role in exchanging new reforms taking place in the agricultural business. He said that farmers were encouraged to adopt subsidiary business along with farming to increase their income and invited them to give priority to marketing of their produce. On this occasion, he appealed to the farmers (Punjab) not to set fire to paddy stubble and said that the tendency of setting fire pollutes the environment and spreads serious diseases. Deep Sandhu, Abjinder Singh Sangha, Sahil Makkar, Kesho Kultar Singh Pannu, Jasdeep Singh Brar and Advocate Jaishwinder Singh Brar were also present on this occasion.
