Firozpur: Kulbir Jeera has filed a petition in the High Court demanding security. According to the petition, action should be taken against the accused in the case of attack on him on October 1. The Election Commission and the police have not yet taken any action on his complaint.
Jeera said that he fears that the police may implicate him in some other case like before, hence the High Court should give him protection. The High Court has issued a notice to the Punjab Government and other defendants on the petition and sought their response.
