Mumbai: After recent hit horror comedy films one after the other including ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, ‘Stree 2’, ‘Munjiya’, now everyone in Bollywood is betting on making or working in a horror comedy film. Kriti Sen has also signed a horror comedy film.
After most of his previous films including Aanand L Rai’s ‘Rakshabandhan’ failed, he too is looking for a hit formula and has planned a mostly horror comedy titled ‘Nayi Naveli’. Its shooting will start next year.
There are plenty of imitators in Bollywood. When a formula becomes a hit, everyone runs after it. Earlier, similar craze was seen for action films, biopics and sports dramas. Nowadays, intelligence operation films are in trend in Bollywood.
