Ranchi, 26 August (HS). The Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great pomp in Nav Jyoti Bhawan by Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwari Vishwavidyalaya located in Pithoria, Ranchi. On this occasion, the director of the center, BK Rajmati sister, said that the birth of Lord Krishna is celebrated as Janmashtami.
Devotees of Lord Krishna celebrate this day with great devotion and reverence. He is seen as the epitome of divinity, love and righteousness. His life and teachings inspire devotees to live a life based on dharma, karma and bhakti.
