Prayagraj, 25 September (HS). The hearing of the Mathura Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Mosque dispute is ongoing. The next hearing will be on 30 September. In some civil cases, the temple side has demanded amendments, on which objections have been sought from the mosque side. The opponents have also been given time to file objections on the application filed to decide the religious character of the disputed site in two cases.
Justice Mayank Kumar Jain is hearing 17 civil cases related to Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi together. An application has been filed by the Sunni Central Waqf Board and Shahi Idgah Mosque Committee to withdraw the order of January 11, 24 to hear all the cases together and hear them separately. The court has given time to the plaintiff advocates to file their objections to the application.
The issue of dispute is to be decided in the cases. Before that, the process of disposal of all pending applications is being completed. The court said that such objections of all the cases will be decided along with the disposal of the order withdrawal petition for hearing the civil cases together in the Bhagwan Shri Krishna Virajman Katra Keshav Dev case.
In case number seven, objection was raised in the court to remove the name of the first plaintiff Kaushal Kishore Thakur and add the name of Ajay Pratap Singh. Harishankar Jain filed an application under Order 6 Rule 17. On which the court has sought a reply from the opponents. Reena N Singh, Harishankar Jain, opposition advocate Tasneem Ahmadi and other advocates presented their side on the cases.
