Korba, September 2 (HS). Bilaspur and Korba units of Youth Hostel Association jointly organized a bike rally on environmental protection and snake rescue training today on 2 September 2024. Chairman Sandeep Seth flagged off the rally from Ghantaghar at 8 am.
About 50 participants attended this program. The participants covered a distance of 170 km and visited Korba, Coffee Point, Devphari, Satrenga, Bango, Katghora and returned to Korba. Snake rescue trainer Avinash Yadav trained the members to deal with snakebite and gave detailed information about snakes. Youth Hostel played a role in the economic empowerment of the women of Jagriti Samuh in Satrenga by getting traditional food from them. The program concluded with the distribution of certificates.
The program was led by State Chairman Sandeep Seth. The rally conveners were Shailendra Namdev and PL Mirendra. Many new members also joined the program. Reena, Kalpana, Suman, Shivkumari, Shailesh, Bhaskar, Sharda, Meena, Rahul, Tribhuvan, Sandeep actively participated in the program. Arvind, Balgovind, Ratna, Renu, Jaiprakash, Rajesh, Jainendra, Rita, Bhushan, Vikas made the program successful.
