According to information received from police station sources, the young man was brought by the team today on the basis of suspicion for questioning in a case of bike theft.
He was made to sit inside the police station and a bottle of phenyl was kept near him where he was present. The suspicious young man, seeing the opportunity, quickly opened the bottle of phenyl and drank it in one gulp. Seeing his act, there was a panic among the staff present in the police station and immediately snatched the bottle from his hand and after informing the station in-charge, he was taken to the hospital. As soon as the information was received, other officers reached the Civil Lines police station and information is being taken.
