Under Modi's guarantee, Mahtari Vandan Yojana has been implemented as a commendable initiative by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai with the aim of empowering the women of the state. To provide benefits to eligible women under the scheme, applications have been taken under Mahtari Vandan Yojana in various wards of urban bodies in the district and in Panchayats and Anganwadi centers in rural areas. Women have been very enthusiastic about this scheme since the beginning. A total of 02 lakh 91 thousand applications have been submitted in the district till 06 pm on 20th February, which are being verified expeditiously.
Women are completely assured of their secure future with the amount received from this scheme. The state government will provide financial assistance through this scheme to make women empowered and self-reliant. Women also say that it is a matter of great happiness that the government is running such a good scheme in the interest of women. Which women will be able to use for various purposes including fulfilling their needs. Under this scheme, Rs 1-01 thousand will be transferred to the women's accounts every month through DBT. In this way, twelve thousand rupees will be provided to women annually by the government. Expressing happiness over the decision to implement this scheme, the women expressed gratitude to the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and thanked them.
