Korba 03 September (HS). Collector Ajit Vasant reviewed the departmental work by holding a time limit meeting in the Collectorate hall on Tuesday. In the meeting, he reviewed with all SDMs about making caste certificates on the basis of Gram Sabha held on 31 August and directed them to submit village panchayat wise report. He also directed the SDM and District Education Officer to contact the families of the students who are unable to make caste certificates due to lack of documents and collect the necessary documents and make caste certificates on the basis of the actual caste of the students. The Collector directed the SDM to ensure inspection of schools, ashrams, hostels, health centers, Anganwadi centers, fair price shops, field government offices from time to time. Along with this, ensure regular inspection of the nutrition rehabilitation center set up at the block level.
In the meeting, the Collector gave instructions regarding Ayushman Card, resolution of cases of compassionate appointment, supply of electricity in villages, construction of access roads to reach schools, hostels, construction of bicycle stands in high and higher secondary schools. He directed the SDM to ensure prompt recovery of the amount released in the name of government works from the Sarpanches. In the meeting, the Collector directed to bring progress in the construction work of underpass at Sanjay Nagar railway crossing. The Collector directed the Tehsildars to bring progress in the works of map partition, resolution of error correction cases. In the meeting, the Collector directed to correct the records of the departments related to land acquisition. He reviewed the important development works and public welfare activities approved in the district and directed the concerned departments to bring progress in the work. The Collector directed the SDM and Tehsildars that there should be no new encroachment in the area and if there is a complaint of encroachment at any place, action should be taken promptly. He directed to complete the works of DMF approved in the Gram Panchayats before 01 January 2024 under DMF. The collector directed the Tehsildar to resolve the claim objection received in relation to the Masahati village Barbaspur in a quality manner. In the meeting, the collector directed the departmental officers to inform the SDM about the dilapidated government offices at the development block level. He directed to provide forest rights certificates to all the eligible Pahadi Korwas, Birhors beneficiaries of the special backward tribal community in the special camp to be organized on 07 September.
The collector reviewed the pending cases of TL department wise, cases under tehsildar, urban bodies and gave necessary instructions to the officers. Divisional Forest Officer Katghora Kumar Nishant, Korba Arvind PM, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Pratishtha Mamgai, Additional Collector Dinesh Kumar Nag, Anupam Tiwari and all other officers were present in the meeting.
