Budhwara Bai of the special backward tribe Birhor group, resident of Doomarkachar village panchayat of Pali development block of the district, has got relief from living in a kutcha house due to the construction of PM Awas. Now she is living happily in a pucca house with her family. The beneficiary told that earlier she used to live with her family in a kutcha house. She always had the desire for a pucca house but the family support was not able to support the family with the household income. Whatever little savings were spent on repairing the kutcha house from time to time. Due to which her dream of building a pucca house remained just a dream.
By taking advantage of the scheme and building a concrete house, Budhwara Bai has got rid of all these problems. Now she is not worried about water dripping from the roof or wet walls in the rain. Also, she is not afraid of snakes and scorpions. Now she feels safe in a concrete house with her family and is living a happy life.
He told that under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Awas Yojana, approval was received for housing construction in the year 2023-24. In different stages of house construction, he received an amount of two lakh rupees in his bank account in four installments and also received the amount of 95 days' wages through MNREGA. The beneficiary told that the public welfare schemes of the Central and State Government have brought a lot of change in his social life, he is getting the benefit of many schemes of the government regularly, due to which his standard of living has improved. He thanked Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai along with the district administration for making the dream of building a house for economically weaker families come true through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
