Under the guidance of Collector Ajit Vasant and under the guidance of Corporation Commissioner Ms. Pratishtha Mamgai, the administration is working on alert mode regarding dengue, malaria and seasonal diseases. For this, 12 teams have been formed, these teams are reaching about 2000 houses of 08 wards every day by running special campaigns. They are making people aware by inspecting the condition of waterlogging and cleanliness of houses and surrounding places. Larvae are being destroyed by spraying insecticides and anti-larvae medicines at the places of waterlogging and quick drainage of water is being ensured.
The teams are suggesting to the residents to spray burnt oil, kerosene or other insecticides at the places where water is stagnant in their houses so that the possibility of larvae breeding can be eliminated. During inspection of houses by the teams, the water from coolers and the water accumulated in junk materials kept in and around the houses is being drained out at the spot itself and people are also being constantly advised for this.
Special attention to cleanliness
The corporation is paying special attention to cleanliness work. Regular cleaning of drains, prompt lifting and transportation of waste generated during cleaning and its proper management, continuous spraying of insecticides on drains, public places and waterlogging sites are being done as a special campaign. At the same time, the Swachhata Didi doing the work of door-to-door waste collection is distributing pamphlets for public awareness and urging people to be especially conscious about the cleanliness of the house and surroundings.
Support of councillors and friends
During the special campaign, the teams reaching the wards are taking the help of ward councilors, public representatives, Mitanins and aware slum dwellers. Teams led by ward councilors are going door-to-door to make people aware. They are inspecting the houses and the ward councilors are requesting people to be careful about cleanliness. Especially do not let water accumulate in the house and nearby places.
Properly manage the waste emitted by cattle – These teams are visiting the cattle keepers and dairy operators of the city and are strictly instructing them to properly manage the waste, dung, etc. emitted by their domesticated cattle. Pay special attention to cleanliness, do not spread filth. Lack of proper management of faeces and urine emitted by cattle leads to filth, which also affects the nearby houses, filth causes diseases, so pay special attention to cleanliness.

The water in the coolers kept in people's homes should be changed daily. For this, make people aware continuously. Be vigilant towards cleanliness works.
