Kolkata Rape Case: The case of rape and murder of a female trainee doctor in Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College is in the news. Protests are taking place not only in Bengal but all over the country. Meanwhile, the mother of the female trainee doctor spoke to ANI. She said that a call came from the hospital that the daughter's health was bad, then they said that she had committed suicide, when I reached the hospital, first I was not allowed to see the body, then when permission was granted, I saw that her pants were open, there was only one cloth on the body. The hand was broken and blood was flowing from the eye. She also expressed displeasure over the work of Kolkata Police and said that it seems that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is trying to suppress the protests.
According to the female trainee doctor, the attitude of the hospital administration towards her daughter's death was not right at all. She said that, while the hospital administration talked to us only half-heartedly. The health of the only daughter is bad and hung up the phone. When I called again to get more information, the person on the other side introduced himself as an assistant and said that your daughter was on duty on Thursday and she has committed suicide. When we reached the hospital at around 10.53 pm on Friday night, at first we were not allowed to see the dead body. She further said that when we were allowed to meet our daughter at 3 am, the ground slipped from under our feet after seeing the scene inside. Her pants were open, there was only one cloth on the body. The hand was broken and blood was flowing from the mouth and eyes. It seemed as if someone had killed our daughter. I told them that this is not a suicide, we worked very hard to make our daughter a doctor and she was murdered.
The police did not work properly,
The victim's mother also questioned the Mamata government, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that the culprit will be caught soon but nothing has happened yet. One person has been arrested. I am sure some other people are also involved in this incident. I think the entire department is responsible for this incident. The police did not do a good job at all. I think the Chief Minister is trying to suppress the opposition. She has imposed Section 144 here today so that no protest can take place.
Regarding Kolkata Police, he said that they did not support me at all. They just tried to end the case quickly. Their effort was to get the body removed by conducting the post-mortem as soon as possible.
