- Silver fell by ₹1,335 and reached ₹85,700 per kg.

Gold and silver prices fall in December
There has been a continuous decline in the prices of gold and silver in December.
- Despite the wedding season (till 15 December), prices continued to fall.
- By 20 December 2024:
- Gold became cheaper by ₹1,193 per 10 grams.
- The price of silver fell three times more than that of gold and became cheaper by ₹3,683 per kg.
- On 29 November 2024:
- Gold: Closed at ₹76,740 per 10 grams.
- Silver: Was ₹89,383 per kg.
Performance of gold and silver prices in 2024
Despite the decline in December, gold and silver showed a strong rise throughout the year in 2024.
- Sleep:
- It has become costlier by ₹ 12,301 per 10 grams in the entire year.
