Fake and real milk: Milk is an important part of our diet and most households have milk every day. Some people order packet milk and some people buy cow or buffalo milk, but do you know that nowadays the business of fake and adulterated milk is increasing, which is very harmful.
So today we are going to tell you some tips, following which you can identify fake and adulterated milk at home within minutes.
identify by taste
The taste of real milk will be slightly sweet. You should smell the milk, if the milk smells sweet then it is pure and if it smells like soap or detergent then you should understand that it has been adulterated.
identify by color
Real milk is milky in color and remains milky and white in color even after boiling and storage. At the same time, fake and adulterated milk starts turning yellow within a few hours of storage. Even if it is kept boiled, its milky color will change to yellow. Actually, yellowness in milk is due to urea, which is added to thicken it, which is dangerous for health.
identify by drops
You put one or two drops of milk on a black surface. The milk will come down and leave a line. If it forms a thick white line then the milk is real and pure and if the line becomes transparent then understand that water has been mixed in the milk.
Recognize by foam –
Pour a little amount of milk i.e. one spoon in a glass bottle and shake it vigorously. If foam appears in the milk and the foam settles down after some time, it means that detergent has been mixed in the milk. If milk does not foam, it can be considered pure.
