Balotra, 13 May (HIST). All India Saint Conference of Juna Akhara was organized at Kharantiya Math of the district. Kishan Bharti Maharaj, the Mahant of the Math and a Pir of the Jogendra Pir tradition, was honored with the title of Pir. He was also consecrated and worshipped. Sages and saints from all over the country honored Pir Kishan Bharti with the title of Pir by giving him a throne, umbrella and walking stick.
Actually, a four-day saint conference is being organized in Kharantiya Math. On this day, Urdhvamnaya Shrikashi Sumeru Peethadheeshwar, eternally decorated Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Narendranand Saraswati Maharaj, International Patron of Juna Akhara and General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, Shri Mahant Hari Giri Maharaj, current International President of Juna Akhara, Mahant Prem Giri Maharaj and Shri Panch Dashnam, International President of Juna Akhara. Spokesperson, National President of Delhi Sant Mahamandal and President of Hindu United Front, Mahant Narayan Giri Maharaj honored Pir Kishan Bharti Maharaj with the title of Pir by giving him a throne, umbrella and stick. There has been a tradition of giving the title of Pir since the time of kings and emperors.
