The wait of the farmers of the country is going to end soon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to Maharashtra tomorrow, Saturday 5th October. There he will inaugurate several development projects in Mumbai and Rs 2000 will also be sent to the accounts of farmers as the 18th installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi.
Prime Minister Modi is going to transfer Rs 20 thousand crore to about 9.4 crore farmers as the 18th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi. With this, the money given to farmers under this scheme will be Rs 3.45 lakh crore. Under the Pradhan Mantri Modi Kisan Yojana, eligible farmers are given Rs 6,000 every year and this money is given in three installments of Rs 2,000 each and this time the 18th installment will be Rs 2,000.
Farmers who have not done e-KYC will not be able to avail the benefit of the installment. In fact, it was already made clear by the department that to avail the benefit of the installment, it is necessary to get e-KYC done.
PM Modi is also going to make many other announcements for farmers in Mumbai. He will also release about Rs 2000 crore under Namo Shetkari Mahasman Nidhi Scheme.
PM Modi will also inaugurate several projects worth about Rs 32,800 crore in Thane and Line 3 of Mumbai Metro between Aarey to BKC. Apart from this, he will also inaugurate 5 solar parks with 19 MW capacity. This solar park has been built under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana. Besides this, the beneficiaries of Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana will also be honoured.
