Ramgarh police station on Wednesday arrested three accused who had taken betel nut worth Rs 10 lakh for killing a eunuch. 42 thousand rupees of betel nut and illegal knife have been recovered from them. The arrested accused had planned to murder a eunuch on the festival of Diwali.
Additional Superintendent of Police, City, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that on October 30, a complaint was given by Mampi Kinnar at the police station Ramgarh that his disciple Pinky Kinnar, wife of Raja, resident of Hasmat Nagar, Tower Lane, Ramgarh and Shabbo Kinnar alias Sabir, resident of Urdu Nagar, Waris Pak Dargah Lane. He was beaten up by police station Ramgarh and along with his associates, Tariq son of Samiuddin, resident of Abbas Nagar, police station Ramgarh, Nadeem Ali son of Jamil, resident of Hasmat Nagar near Tower, police station Ramgarh and Rashid alias Raja son of Mukhtyar Ali, resident of Petrol Pump Gali police station, to get him murdered. Ramgarh, Kallu and Tara Salim have been given betel nuts worth Rs 10 lakh. After registering a case on Tahrir and investigation, the police team of Ramgarh police station arrested the accused, Tariq son of Samiuddin, Nadeem Ali son of Jamil and Pinky Kinnar wife Raja, who had taken betel nut of Rs 10 lakh for murder on the information of a particular informer, in the form of betel nut from Nagla Gularia. 42 thousand rupees were found and one illegal knife was recovered along with arrest.
ASP told that during interrogation, accused Tariq and Nadeem told that to kill Kinnar Mampi on the day of Diwali festival, a contract of Rs 10 lakh was given to them by his disciples Pinky Kinnar and Shabbo Kinnar. Out of the betel nut money, Rs 42,000 was given immediately and the rest of the money was promised to be given after the incident was carried out. Our intention was to create a ruckus and create fear in the city by killing Mampi with the sound of firecrackers on the day of Diwali, blaming others for the murder.
The team that made the arrest includes Inspector-in-charge Ramgarh Udayveer Singh Malik, Sub-Inspector Vivek Kumar Sharma, Sub-Inspector Atul Kumar Sharma etc.
