Kidnapped plywood businessman recovered safely, four including a woman arrested

Ranchi, June 10 (HS). Kotwali police station has recovered the kidnapped plywood businessman Amit Gupta safely and arrested four criminals including a woman. The arrested criminals include Amarnath Tiwari, resident of Jagarnathpur police station, Rajiv Singh, resident of Tupudana police station, Vishal Singh Rana, resident of Chutia police station, Kajal Kumari, resident of Chutia police station.

SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha told in a press conference on Monday that on Sunday night, information was received that a person named Amit Gupta, a plywood businessman, has been kidnapped by some people near Kishoreganj Chowk in Kotwali police station area. The kidnappers have taken him away in a black Scorpio car. As soon as the information was received, a team was formed under the leadership of City SP Rajkumar Mehta and by setting up check posts on all the roads of the city, the formed team chased the criminals and surrounded them near Shalimar Market and caught them. Along with this, the kidnapped plywood businessman Amit Gupta was recovered safely.
