Kiara Advani will be seen as the lead actress in the film 'Don 3'

The makers of 'Don 3' have announced that they have signed lead actress Kiara Advani. In the caption of the video shared by tagging Kiara Advani on social media, the makers wrote, 'Welcome to Don Universe @kiaraaliaadvani. In the third film 'Don' franchise, 'Don 3', Ranveer Singh will be seen in the role of Don in place of Shahrukh Khan. Now the makers have decided to cast Kiara Advani opposite Ranveer in place of Priyanka Chopra in this film. Farhan Akhtar will direct the film. In an interview, Farhan said that he wanted to give a new direction to the story of 'Don-3'.

However, he and Shahrukh Khan, who was the lead actor in the previous two parts of the series, did not agree with the story. This was the reason why Farhan decided to remove Shahrukh from the film and work with Ranveer. Farhan said, 'I am in no position to take anyone's place. We have been discussing these things for years. Shahrukh and I did not agree on the direction I wanted to take the story. After this we talked to each other and decided to separate. We thought it would be better for this series. Ever since the announcement of the film, Ranveer Singh is being trolled for replacing Shahrukh Khan. Earlier in an interview, Farhan had taken Ranveer's side and supported him. He said that Ranveer is amazing and perfect for this character. He is also excited and nervous like all of you. He is trying to fit into this character which has been played by Amitabhji and Shahrukh Khan.
