Khargone, September 24 (HS). Under the guidance of Collector Karmveer Sharma and District Ayush Officer Dr. Vasudev Asalkar, on Tuesday, under the Nutrition Fortnight, health check-up of malnourished children, lactating mothers and pregnant mothers was done at Anganwadi Center Mahetwada, Government Ayurvedic Dispensary Mitaval at Anganwadi Center Nimkheda, Thibgaon at Anganwadi Center Kundiya.
In the Mehtwada camp, Ayurveda Medical Officer Dr. JP Chauhan conducted health check-up of 59 malnourished children, lactating mothers and pregnant mothers and provided proper guidance. A free health camp for 84 patients was organised by Ayurveda Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Sisodiya at Anganwadi Centre Nimkheda by Government Ayurveda Dispensary Mitaval under the Nutrition Fortnight. Similarly, in the Kundiya camp, Ayurveda Medical Officer Dr. Mukesh Kumar Saite conducted free health check-up of 45 patients and distributed medicines to them under the Nutrition Fortnight. Thus, free health check-up of 188 patients was conducted in Mehtwada, Nimkheda and Kundiya camps. After the check-up, free medicines were distributed to the patients by the stop.
During this camp, health check-up of malnourished children, pregnant women, lactating mothers and children was done and they were given necessary guidance to prevent seasonal diseases. Along with this, information was given about diet and lifestyle as per the daily routine. Ayush Stop, Anganwadi workers, assistants and Asha workers provided special support in the camp.
