Khalistani terrorist organization Sikh for Justice (SFJ) is continuously threatening Indian diplomats. After first targeting Indian ambassadors to Canada and Britain, the organization has now threatened Indian Ambassador to the US Vinay Kwatra thrice in the last few days. Additionally, similar threats have been made to Russia’s Ambassador to Canada, Vladimir Stepanov.
SFJ founder Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has released a video and announced a reward of 25 thousand dollars for anyone providing information about the public activities of Kwatra and Stepanov. The Indian government has been continuously raising the issue of such threats with the US and Canadian governments, but till now no special attention has been paid to it. However, on Wednesday the US Embassy in New Delhi assured that it is committed to the safety of all foreign diplomats in the US.
Pannu also said that Russian agencies are helping India and with their cooperation, Indian agencies have killed Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijhar. Pannu had recently accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of working against the Sikhs in collaboration with PM Narendra Modi.
SFJ claims that the Russian Embassy in Canada hacked the activities of Khalistani leaders on the internet media channel Telegram and shared this information with India. It is worth noting that SFJ has been engaged in anti-India activities for many years and Pannu was declared a terrorist by India in 2020.
Such comments are coming from SFJ after the news of Russia’s ban on Khalistani organizations came. Responding to Pannu’s comments, a US Embassy spokesperson said the US government is committed to the security of all foreign diplomats. Last year, the US had alleged that Indian agencies had conspired to murder American citizen Pannu.
