Khalistan News: High Commissioner Sanjay Verma, who returned to India from Canada, on Thursday said that Indian students going to study in Canada should be conscious of their surroundings, as Khalistan terrorists and radicals are targeting students and trying to radicalize them.
Sanjay Verma Parents of Indian students studying in Canada should regularly communicate with their children and try to understand their situation and convince them to stay away from the unfavorable environment. The Indian community, including more than 3.19 lakh Indian students studying in Canada, faces a major threat from Khalistani terrorists and fundamentalists. Khalistani terrorists living in Canada are not Indians but Canadian citizens. They are working against India from Canadian soil. We just want Canada to take action against them. They are challenging the sovereignty and integrity of India.
He said that India's relations with Canada have always been good. But there has been a controversy over this for some time, the credit for which is being given to Justin Trudeau and his team. The Trudeau government had called Sanjay Verma a 'person of interest'. When asked about this, Sanjay Verma said that the Trudeau government wanted to interrogate him without providing any evidence. He said that we have been and will continue to collect information against Khalistani terrorists because they are our enemies and this is a matter of our country's security. A handful of Khalistanis in Canada are corrupting the system there. They continue to intimidate people of Indian origin.
