Khajuraho has emerged as a leader in road, air and railway connectivity: V.D. Sharma

Chhatarpur, March 12 (HS). Tuesday has been important from the point of view of expansion and development of Railways. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of railway projects and development works worth more than Rs 85 thousand crore and virtually flagged off 10 new Vande Bharat Express. In which Khajuraho also got the gift of new Vande Bharat Express train. Besides, One Station One Product stall was also inaugurated at the railway station. On receiving this gift to the people of Bundelkhand region, Chief Minister of the state Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav by tweeting that Vande Bharat's new semi-speed train will open a new door of development.

MP Khajuraho V.D. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address was heard in the program organized at the railway station under the chief hospitality of Sharma. Vande Bharat Express train from Khajuraho to Delhi left from Khajuraho railway station. MP Sharma said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian Railways is now emerging as a strong symbol of self-reliant India. Innovative efforts are also being made to promote local products on stations to promote Vocal for Local. He said that the development journey of entire Bundelkhand including Khajuraho Lok Sabha has got new momentum. Apart from being a world tourist destination, Khajuraho Lok Sabha is now making its special identity in the field of development as well. World tourist destination Khajuraho is now emerging as a leader in the country with the best road connectivity, air connectivity as well as rail connectivity. Due to these various gifts of development, along with the economic development of the area, employment opportunities are also increasing at the local level.

Minister of State for Forest and Environment Dilip Ahirwar, MLA Arvindra Pateria, former minister Brijendra Pratap Singh, District Panchayat President Vidya Agnihotri, M.P. were present in the program. Backward Classes Commission Chairman Ramkrishna Kusmaria, Collector Sandeep G.R., SP Amit Sanghi, DRM Deepak Kumar Sinha were present. MP Khajuraho Shri Sharma met school children at the railway station and purchased local products made from bamboo at the stall located at the railway station under One Station One Product.

MP Sharma said that with the availability of Vande Bharat Express in Khajuraho, tourists from all over the country and the world coming here will get more transportation facilities. On behalf of the citizens of the area, he expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for this historic gift.
