Kanpur, 19 April (HS). Under the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections, the process of nomination has started in both the Lok Sabha seats of Kanpur. BJP candidate from Kanpur Nagar seat Ramesh Awasthi will file nomination on Saturday. Before nomination, there will be a public meeting in the presence of the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government. After this, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya will flag off the nomination procession.
Kanpur Lok Sabha media in-charge Manish Tripathi said that BJP candidate Ramesh Awasthi will file his nomination in the court with a foot procession after worshiping Baba Anandeshwar at Parmat temple on Saturday. All the workers of Kanpur Lok Sabha will gather at Baba Anandeshwar Dham in Parmat Temple on Saturday morning. Before the nomination, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Keshav Prasad Maurya will address the nomination meeting. All public representatives including state government ministers, mayors, MLAs, MLCs will be present in the nomination procession. The nomination procession of BJP candidate Ramesh Awasthi will start from Anandeshwar Temple on Saturday at 9 am. On Friday, BJP North and South District President Dipu Pandey and Shivram Singh held a meeting at Shastri Nagar Central Office and made a plan regarding the preparation for the nomination procession. He appealed to all the party workers to reach Anandeshwar temple at 9 am in large numbers in two-wheelers and four-wheelers. During this, Kanpur Lok Sabha in-charge Ram Sharan Katiyar, Ramakant Tripathi, Manikant Jain, Kaushal Kishore Dixit etc. were present.
