
The Uttar Pradesh government, under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, is committed to effectively implement the policy of zero tolerance towards corruption and good governance. In the same sequence, in compliance with the instructions of Honorable Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, disciplinary action has been taken against Joint Commissioner (MNREGA), Rural Development, Sanjay Kumar Pandey in relation to allegations of serious administrative and financial irregularities and he has been suspended with immediate effect.
In the investigation into allegations of financial irregularities committed by Sanjay Kumar Pandey during his posting on the post of Deputy Commissioner (Self-Employment), State Rural Livelihood Mission, in Unnao district, after finding him prima facie guilty of serious administrative and financial irregularities, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya directed to take strict disciplinary action against him.
Also, keeping in view the proposed disciplinary action against Sanjay Kumar Pandey, under Rule 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Government Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999, he has been suspended with immediate effect and as per the rules, he will remain attached to the Rural Development Department Headquarters.
