Today, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya participated in the Gram Chaupal program organized in Khajuri village of Ambedkar Nagar district.
Deputy Minister’s address from the stage-

– The target is to make 6 crore Didi Lakhpati Didi, Prime Minister.
The target of creating 3 crore lakhpati didis in the state will be achieved.
The state will also play the role of a leading state in making didis millionaires.
– According to the instructions to the officers, the material required for purchase should be procured through the Didis of the group.
– Old age pension was earlier Rs 300, double engine government has now given Rs 1500 from April 1.
– Government is giving huge subsidy under PM Suryaghar Yojana.
– Developed India, developed Uttar Pradesh, developed Ambedkar Nagar means making the poor rich.
– Appeal to the youth to become employment givers and not job seekers.
On this occasion, he visited the developmental exhibition organized by various departments and reviewed the progress of public welfare schemes run by the government.
The Deputy Chief Minister ordered the officials that Village Chaupal will be organized every Friday, information about which will be given to the villagers by playing ‘Dugdugi’. In these programs, people will be given direct information about government schemes by establishing coordination with public representatives.
While participating in the Annaprashan Sanskar organized at the venue, the Deputy Chief Minister made small children eat food and informed the mothers about the importance of balanced nutrition. While interacting with the women and parents present, he said that the state government is committed to achieving the goal of malnutrition-free Uttar Pradesh. In this sequence, he also distributed the nutritional food being distributed through Anganwadi centers and received feedback from the beneficiaries.
During the program, Shri Maurya ji also visited the pandal of BC Sakhis and took detailed information from them about the availability of banking facilities, digital transactions and efforts for women empowerment in rural areas. He said that BC Sakhis are playing an important role in strengthening the rural economy and women are being made self-reliant through self-help groups.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed the officials that the benefits of the schemes run at the village level should reach the eligible people in a timely and transparent manner. He said that the Gram Chaupal program is an effective medium to establish direct communication between the government and the public, through which quick resolution of problems is being ensured.
Self Help Groups (SHGs): To make rural women self-reliant and review the objectives of ‘Lakhpati Didi’ scheme.
Employment and Infrastructure: To ensure quality and timeliness of the works going on under Ji-Ram-Ji.
Awas Yojana: To provide timely benefits to the eligible beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural).
Transparency: Strict instructions can be given under the policy of zero tolerance on any kind of laxity or corruption in development works.
Deputy Chief Minister’s message: “Development of villages is the basis of development of the state. The priority of the government is that the benefits of the schemes should reach the person standing at the last rung in a transparent manner.”
