
Shri Maurya directed the officers to consider the formation of a board for the social and economic empowerment of Banskar, Dharkar, Bansphod and Basor communities, providing land lease for bamboo cultivation and proper market system for the production and sale of bamboo products. He said that bamboo cultivation is also useful from environmental point of view and many products can be developed from it as an alternative to plastic.
Shri Maurya said that if any officer commits corruption or asks for bribe, the complaint can be made directly at 7, Kalidas Marg. He said that in such cases, immediate action will be ensured as per rules. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Brajesh Pathak, Dr. Lalji Prasad Nirmal, Member Legislative Council, Shri Baijnath Bansfod, Chairman State Safai Karmachari Commission, Assam, Shri Dhanshyam Pironia, former MLA and Chairman Bamboo Crafts Board, Madhya Pradesh, Shri Pramod Saroj, State President, Dr. Ambedkar Mahasabha and Shri Amarnath Prajapati, Minister, Ambedkar Mahasabha Trust and other dignitaries were present in the program.
