Kerala: CM Yogi reached to meet Wayanad landslide victims, gave 10 crores | News India

More than 350 people have died in this landslide that happened in Wayanad, Kerala on July 30. Many people went missing. Many villages of Wayanad were destroyed after the landslide. Churamala, Mundakkai and Vellarimala villages of Meppadi were the worst affected. Hundreds of families were sent to relief camps. Actors and politicians from the film world came forward to help the victims. Then UP CM Yogi Adityanath has also come among the people of Kerala.

CM Yogi sent 10 crores

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has released Rs. 10 crores have been sent. Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan thanked Yogi Adityanath for this. The Governor praised the generosity of the Uttar Pradesh government through a letter and said that this assistance has left a deep impression on the people of Kerala. He also described this assistance as a symbol of unity of the whole country towards the victims of natural disaster. In a letter addressed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Arif Mohammad Khan wrote, 'Thank you very much for the Rs 10 crore you have sent for the rehabilitation of the landslide victims of Wayanad district of Kerala.'

Also took the help of Gita shloka

He further wrote that your generosity has left a deep impression on the minds of the people of Kerala and made them realize that natural disasters affect the people of a particular region, but the pain is felt by the whole country. Arif Mohammad Khan also resorted to Gita Shloka to express his gratitude to CM Yogi.

CM expressed grief over the landslide

Yogi Adityanath also expressed grief over the loss of life and property due to the landslide in Wayanad on the social media platform 'X'. He wrote in a post, “Deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the landslide in Wayanad, Kerala. My heartfelt condolences and prayers are with their loved ones and I hope for the speedy recovery of the injured.”
