'Kejriwal will vote for Congress and Rahul Gandhi for AAP', read what else Raghav Chadha, who returned from Britain after eye surgery, said?

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha attended his first election meeting for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 after returning from the UK after eye surgery. During this he said that this is an interesting election. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will vote for the Congress and Rahul Gandhi will vote for the Aam Aadmi Party candidate in the national capital.

This election is to save the country- Chadha

Addressing an election rally in south Delhi on Tuesday in support of the party's Lok Sabha candidate Sahiram Pehalwan, Chadha said, “I have come here to support my brother, not only because he is a good person but also because this election is to save the country and the Constitution. So the future of your children depends on your vote.”

The AAP MP said in the rally, 'Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party have benefited AAP a lot. Ever since Arvind Kejriwal's government was formed in Delhi, every family is saving about Rs 18 thousand every month. Fees up to Rs 10000 charged by private schools have been saved and Aam Aadmi Party has made government schools better than posh private schools, your electricity bill is zero which used to be Rs 2500-3000.

Let us tell you that when the party was struggling against the arrest of Kejriwal, questions were being raised over his long absence. Regarding this, AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj had said that Chadha had a serious eye disease, which could have caused blindness.

Voting will take place in Delhi on 25th May

Chadha was also present at the Aam Aadmi Party dharna near the BJP headquarters on Sunday. Expressing confidence of the massive victory of the Congress-AAP alliance, Chadha said that I am confident that this time we will win from South Delhi with the maximum number of votes. Let us tell you that voting for seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi will be held on May 25 and the results will be declared on June 4.
