What is the bail process?
In fact, the written order of granting bail will be uploaded on the website today i.e. on Friday and the bail bond will be filled in front of the duty judge today itself. After that, the lower court's order will go to Tihar Jail. Kejriwal's release will be ensured from there. This entire process may take three to four hours.
ED will knock the door of High Court
Along with this, according to sources, ED will challenge this order in Delhi High Court on Friday. Along with filing an application to cancel the bail, they will demand an early hearing.
ED's demand was also rejected
Special Judge Nyaya Bindu also rejected the plea of Enforcement Directorate (ED) to stay Arvind Kejriwal's bail order for 48 hours. During the 48-hour stay, ED can approach the High Court.
Bail granted on these conditions
The court has also imposed several conditions on the AAP leader, including that he will not try to disrupt the investigation or influence witnesses. The special judge also directed Kejriwal to appear in court whenever required and cooperate in the investigation. After hearing arguments from the ED and the defence during the day, the special judge reserved his decision.
