New Delhi, 01 November (Hindustan Reporter). BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh said that Arvind Kejriwal, who blames firecrackers for Delhi's pollution, has turned Delhi into a gas chamber. Along with this, the Yamuna river of the capital has also been made a polluted river.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Tarun Chugh said that to hide his failure and inability to control pollution, Arvind Kejriwal is blaming Diwali firecrackers for Delhi's deteriorating air quality. In the last 10 years, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has done nothing in Delhi to deal with the issue of pollution. Due to the complete failure of the AAP government to implement proper policies on industrial waste management and pollution control as well as lack of timely action, the Yamuna river has become poisonous and Delhiites are suffering from dangerously poor quality air.

Chugh took a dig at Kejriwal's unfulfilled promises regarding the “dip and sip” scheme in the Yamuna, saying that in a television interview in 2021, Kejriwal had claimed that he would personally take a bath in the holy river by 2025, but such The promises were just white lies and a gimmick to mislead the innocent people of Delhi. He said that the people of Delhi deserve better than this and only BJP can provide them a clean environment and pure Yamuna river.
