The investigation of the present case is pending since August 2022. Kejriwal was arrested on 21 March 2024. More importantly, the legality of the arrest has also been challenged before this court and the final decision is awaited. Therefore he is granted interim bail. Along with this, the Supreme Court also ordered Kejriwal to pay Rs 50 thousand. A bond of Rs 50,000 was approved.
