Keep your children safe too, 48 students fainted due to extreme heat in Bihar

Heatwave: The outbreak of severe heat continues across the country. The maximum temperature is being recorded above 45 degrees Celsius. Delhi's maximum temperature reached close to 50 degrees (49.9 degrees), breaking the record of the last 100 years. Apart from this, Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are also in the grip of severe heat. There is summer vacation in schools in many states but schools are still open in Bihar. Today 48 girl students fell unconscious in the classroom in Begusarai and Sheikhpura of Bihar.

24 girl students fainted due to heat in a school in Sheikhpura

Due to the scorching heat in a school in Sheikhpura, the health of the students deteriorated so much that they had to be admitted to the hospital immediately. Due to the scorching heat, girl students fainted in many schools including Mankaul Upkramit Madhya Vidyalaya under Ariyari block of Sheikhpura district. Due to the scorching heat, some students fainted during prayer and some in the class itself.

The teachers got confused when the students fainted. When the family members of the students came to know about this, they also reached the school. After this, the students were admitted to the hospital.

18 girl students fell ill in Begusarai school

18 girl students fainted due to extreme heat in Matihani Madhya Vidyalaya of Matihani block. These students have been admitted to Matihani Referral Hospital for treatment. All the students are being treated in the hospital. The temperature in Begusarai is above 40 degrees. Despite the extreme heat, all schools are open.

At around 10:00 pm in Madhya Vidyalaya Matihani, school girls suddenly started falling unconscious, after which the headmaster Chandrakant Singh first gave them ORS solution in the school itself, but they still continued to faint. After this, all the students were admitted to Matihani Referral Hospital for treatment.

At present, 14 students are being treated at Matihani Referral Hospital. The school's headmaster Chandrakant Singh said that it is very hot. The school has electricity as well as fans and generators, but due to the heat, the students have started fainting. First aid was given at the school but when their health deteriorated, all the girls were admitted to the hospital for treatment.
