Keep an eye on encroachment in government land and take action to remove it: Collector

Korba 14 May (Hindustan Reporter) Collector Ajit Vasant reviewed important works of public interest in the deadline meeting on Tuesday. He congratulated and congratulated everyone including the nodal officers for conducting the voting work peacefully in the district and directed them to complete the counting work responsibly.

In the meeting, Collector Shri Vasant discussed the related letters of TL, implementation of departmental works and other activities and directed all the officers including SDMs to go to the field and get information about the progress of departmental works and construction work. While giving instructions to stop encroachment on government land in the district, the Collector said that the recent encroachment on government land in rural and urban areas should be removed immediately. Encroachments should be removed from important places including playgrounds and around schools. He has given instructions to take action keeping a special eye on encroachment. The Collector also instructed all the government departments to put up information boards on the vacant land of the department.

The Collector reviewed the health services and gave instructions to bring progress. He gave instructions to inspect hostels and ashrams. Along with timely distribution of food and other materials in Anganwadi centers and kindergartens operated in brick kilns, the Collector directed that the centers and other activities should be run on time with the presence of sufficient children in the Anganwadi centres.

In the meeting, the Collector gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials regarding Anganwadi centres, electrification of schools, access roads, electrification of unelectrified villages. While giving instructions to resolve the pending revenue cases, he said that the demarcation cases should be resolved before the rains.

The Collector directed the SDM, Environment Officer, Transport Officer to keep an eye on the ash transportation in the district and take action against the vehicle concerned for transporting ash against the rules. The Collector gave instructions to take action on the cases of compassionate appointment and pension in the departments, investigate the cases of suspension and reinstate them and take work from the concerned. He gave instructions to submit the information sought under DMF, deposit the amount of canceled works and unstarted works.

He said that there should not be any building-less school or Anganwadi center in the district. Instructions were also given to submit information in this regard and issue administrative approval under DMF as per requirement. The Collector directed the District Education Officer to submit information about vacant teachers in schools and to fill the posts of guest teachers and guest lecturers. The Collector directed that there should be no shortage of teachers on the posts of specific subjects in higher schools. The Collector gave instructions to place educated unemployed people belonging to special backward tribe families residing in the district on vacant posts in education, health and other important departments and asked to give priority to PVTG by coordinating with the tribal department. He directed to prepare caste certificates for all school students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.

The Collector gave instructions to correct the records of cases of land acquisition done after 1990 under Public Works Department, Water Resources Department and other departments including National Highways and directed to provide documents to the Revenue Department so that action can be taken against encroachment. .

The Collector reviewed the pending cases and gave necessary instructions. During this, all the officers including DFO Katghora Kumar Nishant, District Panchayat CEO Sambit Mishra, Corporation Commissioner Smt. Pratishtha Mamgai were present.
