Kedarnath Dham is located in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. To reach here one has to trek 16 km from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. If you cannot climb on foot, you can reach the temple by riding a horse or palanquin. Apart from this, helicopter service is available in Kedarnath. Kedarnath temple can be reached by helicopter from Gaurikund or Phata. However, to avail the helicopter service, prior booking has to be done. When can you book a helicopter?
Helicopter ticket booking for Kedarnath Dham Yatra has started from 20th April 2024. You can book helicopter service from 10th May to 20th June. You can book helicopter for Kedarnath from 15th September to 31st October.

Registration- Visit IRCTC Heli Yatra website (www.heliyatra.irctc.co.in) and click on Registration Process and register through Sign Up button.
sign in- During registration, you have to provide your information including your name, mobile number, email ID, state name, create password and create account.
log in- Log in using the registered mobile number and password and fill the registration details. For example, enter your Chardhar Registration Group ID for group booking and individual registration number for individual booking.
Slot Booking- Fill helicopter operator as per your choice and date and travel slot time.
Information of all passengers, including their ID card numbers, will have to be entered.
OTP- One Time Password will be sent to your registered mobile number or email for verification.
online payment – After confirming the booking, book the ticket through online payment process.
Download Ticket- After successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation mail or a link from where you can download the ticket.
