Kedarnath Yatra is starting from May 10: When will the doors of 4 temples here open

Kedarnath temple is one of the most sacred temples in India. Lord Shiva is said to reside in Kedarnath in Uttarakhand, especially because the Kedarnath Yatra lasts only for a few months of the year.

Kedarnath Yatra will start from May 10 and devotees will visit Kedarnath till November. At other times devotees are not allowed to enter Kedarnath temple due to heavy snowfall.

This journey is also known as Chardham Yatra, Chardham means four plains. 4 temples will be visited during this journey,

Kedarnath temple is 3584 meters above sea level, near which the Mandakini river flows.

Pilgrims have to face many challenges to get darshan of the Lord.
Reaching here is not so easy, one has to climb peaks and pass through forests. Natural disasters have occurred many times. A pilgrimage here is a very divine experience.

The temples here will remain closed on the first day of the month of Kartik, during which the idol of Lord Shiva will be brought to Rudraprayag district and worshipped, then brought back and installed and worshipped.

Yamunadri temple Doors open at 06:15 am, darshan is available till 2 pm,
Then darshan is available from 3 pm to 9.30 pm,
Aarti timings are from 7 am to 7:45 pm.

Gangotri puja and darshan timings
Temple doors open at 6 am, darshan is available till 1 pm
And then darshan is available from 4 pm to 8 pm
Aarti Timings: 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM
