A total of four entrepreneurs related to Varanasi’s famous Launglata, Tiranga Barfi and Banarasi Paan have reached the trade show in Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show-2026. Clove trader Chandrabali Yadav said that people liked the taste of Clove very much and about one quintal of Clove has been sold. He said that the way people are showing interest, more orders are expected in the coming time. At the same time, Tiranga Barfi businessman Rajeev Singh said that he did not expect that there would be so much sales in the trade show.
Jaunpur’s Imarti also became people’s choice, one quintal sold
The famous Imarti of Jaunpur has also made her own identity in UPITS. Emirati businessman Ashish Gupta said that so far about 100 kg of Emirati has been sold. The demand was so high that Imarti fell short. He said that all the arrangements in the trade show are very good and there has been full cooperation from the local administration. He said that the Yogi government has given a good platform to the businessmen to take their products to the big market. New customers and businessmen have been met in the trade show, which is expected to increase business in the coming time.
Craze for Chandauli’s black rice-kheer, sale of 75 kg black rice
The taste of Chandauli black rice and nutritious kheer prepared from it is also being liked by the people in the trade show. Businessman Ramashray Kumar Pal said that black rice is cultivated in cow-based natural way, which makes it nutritious and healthy. He said that so far about 75 kg of black rice has been sold in UPITS. People have shown good interest towards this particular product and there is a possibility of getting orders in future too. Ramashray Kumar Pal said that the government is helping and supporting the farmers at every level.
Different style of Banarasi Paan seen at live counter
The live counter of Banarasi Paan has also become the center of attraction for the people in the trade show. Domestic and foreign businessmen and visitors are seen tasting Banarasi paan here. The traditional identity of Kashi’s food is being presented through different products on a single platform, giving businessmen an opportunity to connect with the new market.
For the first time, one district, one dish got the platform
Deputy Commissioner Industries Abhishek Priyadarshi said that for the first time in Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show this year, traditional dishes of different districts have also been displayed under ‘One District-One Cuisine’. Under One District-One Dish, free counters have been provided to entrepreneurs.
