In Vijayapura, Karnataka, a two-year old innocent boy fell into a borewell while playing. Hearing the scream of the child after falling into the borewell, there was chaos in the surrounding area along with the family. Local people informed the police about the incident. On receiving the information, the police and rescue team started a rescue operation to bring out the 24-month-old innocent child safely.

According to the information of the rescue team, the depth of the well is said to be 16 feet. According to the information received, a two year old innocent child fell into about 16 deep borewell in Lachayan village of Vijayapura, Karnataka. Meanwhile, people passing by heard the sound of crying from the borewell. The police along with the family were informed about the child falling into the borewell. As soon as the information was received, the rescue team and Police Rescue operation started to save the child.
Giving more information in the matter, a senior police officer said that according to the information of the rescue team, the depth of the borewell is said to be 16 feet. Police said that the child had fallen from a tree while playing. At around 6.30 pm, the rescue team and police started the operation to save the child. During this, along with police, revenue officials, officials of fire and emergency services department were also present.
