Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrated as Shaurya Diwas

Nainital, 26 July (HS). Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated as Shaurya Diwas in the city's Parvati Prema Jagati Saraswati Vihar School. On this occasion, students of Scout, NCC and NSS marched past in the presence of Principal Dr. Surya Prakash. Also, in the Vandana Sabha, the Principal and Captain Nipendra paid floral tribute to the pictures of Kargil martyrs. On this occasion, a competition of patriotic songs was also organized in the school.

The martyrs were remembered by planting trees

A special program was organized on Kargil Vijay Diwas at Shaheed Hiraballabh Government Inter College of Jyolikot near Nainital. On this occasion, Hiraballabh Bhatt, who sacrificed his life on 11 March 2017 in the Sukma Naxalite attack, and the martyrs of the Kargil war were remembered by planting trees. Martyr Hiraballabh Bhatt's elder brother Ghanshyam Bhatt and braveheart Samata Bhatt honored the meritorious students by giving them cash. On this occasion, Principal Kundan Singh, Principal of Saint Anthony Inter College Sister Shobha, Sister Mariyal, Village Head Shashi Chaniyal, Rajni Rawat, Hargovind Rawat, Jeevan Chandra, Rahul Chauhan, Mohan Pandey, President of Teacher-Parent Association, members, teachers, parents and others were present.
