Burnt body of rape victim found
The 26-year-old was late in returning home from the hospital that night. Meanwhile, her scooty broke down near the toll. While taking the scooty home, four youths present near the toll gang-raped the girl in the name of helping her and set her on fire to destroy evidence and fled after leaving her under the Chatanpally bridge. After this incident, the police took immediate action and on December 6, the four accused were killed in an encounter. Last year, a report had called this encounter fake. It has been revealed that 10 policemen were involved in this encounter. The investigation is still going on in this case.
