Kanya Utthan Yojana: Many schemes are being run by the government to make girls self-reliant. Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Balika Samriddhi Yojana etc. Similarly, to empower girls, Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana is being run by the Bihar government. Under this scheme, the expenses of girls from birth to graduation are borne by the government. Under Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana, ₹94,100 is given at various stages for the education of daughters from birth to graduation.

Know here when and how much amount will be received
An amount of up to ₹2000 is given on the birth of a girl child.
₹1000 is given on completion of 1 year.
₹2000 is given for vaccination.
₹3700 is given for uniform for classes 1 to 12.
₹10,000 is given in class 10th.
₹ 25,000 is given in 12th.
After this, women are given ₹ 50,000 on passing graduation.
Apart from this, under Kishori Swasthya Yojana, girl students from class 7 to 12 are given ₹ 300 every year for sanitary napkins.
Who can take advantage of the scheme?
To avail the benefits of this scheme, you must be a resident of Bihar state.
To avail the benefits of the scheme, the candidate's bank account should be in a branch of a nationalized bank, recognized private bank or India Postal Payment Bank located in Bihar. Two girls of the family can avail the benefit of this scheme.
