Yamunanagar, June 10 (HS). Cabinet Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar said that the state government will work to bring two lakh families whose income is less than one lakh rupees out of the poverty line every year. It will help in increasing their economic income. For the welfare of the poor, the government is working to provide benefits to the poor families sitting at the last end under the Antyodaya Yojana. He said this on Monday at the Agrasen College Jagadhari in the program of distribution of free plot possession letters of 100-100 square yards under the Mahatma Gandhi Awas Yojana.
Agriculture Minister Kanwar Pal said that these plots were to be given for a long time. On Monday, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini gave these allotment letters with registry to 7555 families of the state through a state level program in Sonipat. He said that the government has also decided that if there is no panchayat land, then the beneficiary will be given an amount of one lakh rupees to buy a plot. He said that the Prime Minister's dream of developed India will be realized only when every poor person comes out of the poverty line economically. He said that whether it is about giving gas, gas connections were given to 10 crore people. Whether it is about providing health facilities, the work of giving its benefits to every poor was done through Ayushman.
He said that just two days before this, the state government, through the Antyodaya Transport Scheme, gave Happy Cards to poor families for free bus travel of one thousand kilometers. He said that in the coming times, assistance for building houses will also be given through some other scheme. On this occasion, the Agriculture Minister handed over possession allotment letters of plots to 215 beneficiaries of Kurukshetra, Panchkula and Jagadhri.
