Kanwar festival is at its peak, lakhs of Kanwariyas reached with water, attendance and offering of water has started

Ghaziabad, 01 August (HS). The Kanwar festival has reached its peak. The process of burning the Kanwars from Haridwar is continuing and the atmosphere is completely filled with Shiva. The process of offering water at the historic Pat Ishwar Nath temple has also started. The District Magistrate, Mayor and Municipal Commissioner showered flowers on the Kanwariyas as well as the employees engaged in the arrangements.

District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh described the important role of the corporation in organizing the grand Kavad festival and praised the action plan of the Mayor and Municipal Commissioner. The concerned team was also encouraged to maintain cleanliness and better lighting of the Kavad routes. Along with this, after welcoming the Kavad pilgrims, everyone also showered flowers on the health guards of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation.

On the other hand, Mahant Narayan Giri of Dudheshwar Nath temple said that the process of offering attendance has started at 4 pm today.

Additional Municipal Commissioner Arun Kumar Yadav, Additional Municipal Commissioner Avnindra Kumar, Dr. Anuj Udyan Incharge General Manager Water Kamakhya Anand, Chief Engineer Construction NK Choudhary were present.

The Kanwar camps set up at various places on the Kanwar route by Civil Defence, Ayurvedic Department, Sathi Foundation and others were inspected. During this, beautiful tableaux were seen. Additional Commissioner Mrs. Kalpana Saxena and District Information Officer Yogendra Pratap Singh inspected the camps.
