Kanpur: Yogi government will provide housing to 14 hundred poor families this year under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme | News India

Under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme, the Yogi government has set a target for the financial year 2024-25 to provide houses to about 1400 poor people living in rural areas of Kanpur city. This information was given by Pradeep Narayan Dixit, Project Director of District Rural Development Agency on Saturday.

He told that there are total ten development blocks in Kanpur Nagar district. Yogi government has set a target to provide houses to 1400 poor families living in rural areas under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme. In which 883 poor families of general category and 517 families of Scheduled Caste will be given houses.

He informed that houses will be given to 236 poor families of general category and 152 poor families of Scheduled Caste living in village areas within the development block. In this way, a total target of 388 houses has been set in this block. In this sequence, 21 houses of general category and 32 houses of scheduled category and total 43 houses will be given in Bilhaur.

26 will be given to the general category and 26 to the scheduled category living in Chaubepur development block area. In this way, there is a plan to provide a total of 52 houses. Similarly, a total of 232 seats will be given to 148 general category and 84 scheduled category students of Ghatampur. In this sequence, 38 general and 26 scheduled categories will be made available in Kakvan development block. A total of 64 houses will be provided in this block.

A total of 18 houses will be given to 5 general category and 13 scheduled category residents living in Kalyanpur development block area. 132 general and 88 scheduled category houses will be provided in Patara. A total target of 220 houses has been set in this block.

In development block Sarsaul, houses will be provided to 203 poor families of general category and 45 poor families of scheduled category. 49 houses will be given to the general category and 42 houses to the scheduled category living in Shivrajpur development block area. In this way, a target has been set to provide a total of 91 houses in Shivrajpur. 25 houses of general category and 19 houses of scheduled category will be provided to the residents of Vidhanu development block area.
